CVMP 2014 – 2023

For many years, CDE has supported ACM SIGGRAPH European Conference on Visual Media Production (CVMP). Through sending CDE Research Engineers and Academics to submit research papers and posters or presentations, to sponsorship and hosting networking receptions, both in person and online. 

CVMP is the prime venue for researchers to meet with practitioners in the Creative Industries. This conference brings together production and post-production specialists from the worlds of film, broadcast and games with imaging and graphics researchers; combining expertise in video processing, computer vision, computer graphics, animation and physical simulation. 

CVMP provides a European forum for presenting the latest research and application advances, combined with keynote and invited talks on state-of-the-art industry practice. 

On two occasions, CDE has hosted networking events as part of CVMP, where all CVMP attendees are invited to join the CDE team, academics and research engineers for festive drinks and networking in the BFI, London Southbank. These activities provide valuable opportunities to discover research taking place within CDE and throughout the industry but to also ignite possible collaboration prospects for the future.
