In October 2022, CDE Research Engineer Michal Gnacek presented a paper at the Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction Conference (ACII in Japan).  The paper has recently been published and you can take a look here.

This paper adds to the existing list of emotionally validated databases of stimuli used for emotional induction. AVDOS (Affective Video Database – Online Study) as it has been named, uses novel affective sliders and was carried out fully remotely. AVDOS has recently been enhanced with physiological signals in addition to the self-ratings of arousal and valence through a separate study. The draft paper submission for this is currently underway and we look forward to hearing more.
