Triple Viva Success
We are thrilled that 3 more CDE researchers have passed their Vivas recently.
Tom Matko successfully defended his thesis ‘Flow Visualisation of Computational Fluid Dynamics Modelling’. Mark’s research was carried out in partnership with Wessex Water. Congratulations to Tom and his supervisory team Prof Jian Chang at Bournemouth University and John Leonard at Wessex Water.
Asha Ward also passed her Viva defending her thesis ‘Music Technology for Users with Complex Needs’. Asha worked with her partner Three Ways School in Bath and her supervisors Luke Woodbury at Dotlib and Dr Tom Davis at Bournemouth University. Well done Asha and her supervisors. Asha is heading off to a new job as a skills and activities coordinator at her local community centre and looking forward to furthering her skills in areas such as funding bids.
At the University of Bath Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fire Fellow Soumya Barathi successfully defended her thesis on ‘Interactive Feedforward in High-Intensity VR Exergaming‘. Congratulations to Soumya and her supervisors at the University of Bath, Prof Eamonn O’Neill, Dr Michael Proulx and Dr Christof Lutteroth.
