A number of staff and students from the CDE attended the ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems 2019 in Glasgow on 4-9th May 2019. It was great to make the most of CHI taking place in the UK this year and both academics and students from CDE had papers and a poster accepted.
CDE Research Engineer Javier Dehesa presented his research in collaboration with the University of Bath and Ninja Theory ‘Towards data-driven sword fighting experiences in VR’ on 8th May 19 at the ‘Late Breaking Work poster session’.
CDE academic supervisors Dr Simon Jones, Dr Christof Lutteroth and Dr Julian Padget also all had papers accepted.
CHI 2019 took place from 4th to 9th May 2019 at the Scottish Events Campus in Glasgow.
