This week our congratulations go to CDE Research Engineer Milto Miltiadou for successfully defending her thesis “”Efficient Accumulation, Analysis and Visualisation of Full-Waveform LiDAR in a Volumetric Representation, with Applications to Forestryâ. This thesis was done in collaboration with NERC Airborne Research Facility, which is based at Plymouth Marine Laboratory. Additionally, there was significant influence by Interpine Group Ltd, New Zealand, where a short placement was conducted between January and March in 2016.
Congratulations also go to Milto’s Supervisory team, Dr. Neill D.F. Campbell, Dr. Matthew Brown and Dr. Michael Grant.
Milto now works for the Remote Sensing and Geo-Environment Research Lab of Cyprus University of Technology on the SEO-DWARF project (https://seo-dwarf.eu/). We wish her all the best for her future.
