***** Public Engagement Opportunity â University of Bath Festival The University of Bath festival is the first public festival we have run and is being organised as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations. The event will run from 11am-4pm and is being organised by the Events and Public Engagement teams in Marketing and Communications. The aim is to make it a day for all the family. We are looking for talks or hands-on interactive activities so if you have any ideas of what you might like to do – we’re open to suggestions! The general plan is to have a few different zones â one around the STV focused on sports, one in the Edge around Arts, one around the lake, Parade and University Hall which will include various talks and building tours and one around the Chancellorâs Building and Lime tree which will be more interactive and hands on. We do hope you’ll consider this positively – we’re really excited about this opportunity to invite the local community onto campus to help us celebrate, and to showcase our research, teaching and facilities. The CDE can provide some funding to help you develop an exhibit if you need support. Please contact Denise Cooke asap if you are interested in being involved. |
