Bournemouth-based CDE Research Engineer Phil Wilkinson has been awarded £10,000 by the EPSRC as part of their Telling Tales of Engagementcompetition

The grant will allow Phil to develop further digital engagement activities with community outreach practitioners, educators, and academics with a focus on ‘Digital Families’. The seminars will also be live-streamed online through G-Hangouts.

Phil will be promoting key research from his CDE studies including his ‘Researcher in Residence’ work at the Isle of Portland Aldridge Community Academy. The engagement activities will build on from a Digital Capabilities project that Phil has been involved in with Samsung and Bournemouth’s Centre for Excellence in Media Practice.
