Double Negative win Visual Effects Oscar for Interstellar

Massive congratulations to everyone at Double Negative for another well-deserved victory at the Oscars!

The DNeg team picked up a gong for Best Visual Effects for their work on Christopher Nolan’s cerebal sci-fi epic Interstellar. This win comes hot on the heels of the BAFTA presented by Professor Stephen Hawking.

Collecting the award were Peter Franklin DNeg’s VFX lead, and BU honorary doctor alongside BU alumnus Andrew Lockley along with Scott Fisher and Ian Hunter.

You can get some insight into how the spectacular effects were created on their website.
